It has been an interesting last few week, I was chosen by the mayor of Daly City to receive the Mayor’s Diversity Celebration Award. This award was given to one person per city in San Mateo County; it was an honor to be the first recipient of this award from Daly City.

The Daly City Colma Chamber held it’s 7th Annual Bowling Tournament. I have to say thanks to Melissa and Michele for playing for the restaurant, it was a fun night of friends having fun.

This past Sunday we celebrated Mothers Day, would like to thank my staff for their hard work on a very busy day. We broke our guest record that day thanks to our customers choosing us to celebrate Mothers Day with.

Somehow it took me forever to write this, every time I tried something came up. Friends came over to eat and drink, got busy with other stuff in the restaurant and by the time I remember again it was late and I was home. So I decide that right know to sit down and finish this and posted before something else gets my attention.

First off I want to thank Bill and Jess from Two Dog Promotions for all their hard work in redesign my website. Second I want to thank my staff for all the hard work they been doing especially in the last month with the anniversary of the restaurant and Taste of Our City.  Third need to thank my brother in law for his quick work in fixing my register that went down and got it back up and running quick for me.

In the last few months Al Fin has gone through some changes, we added new items to our menu, currently making some changes to our lobby, just got done doing some photography on our plates that will be up on the facebook and here in the next few days, special thanks to Danae Doukas for her work and having to deal with me. We are also looking into a Preferred Customer group that will have exclusive promotions for them look for it soon on the website and its free.

My last thanks go to my friends. I give thanks to my friends from out of state that have come by and checked us out, second thanks goes to the crew of All About Walken and Patrick O'Sullivan, thanks for spreading the word about us, and my last thanks to friends in the Bay Area who I’ve reconnect with through facebook and have come by to dine.
